Launch of Nanoleaf Product and Instagram Page In 2021(NEW)
Nanoleaf has made an announcement on their official website, Instagram, and subreddit that they are releasing a new product next month on Thursday, June 3rd at 1 PM Eastern Time(ET) zone (sign up here). And they are also launching a new Instagram Page call @Nanoleafhome specifically for home and interior design lovers.
Many have been waiting for an update on their next product since their last live on YouTube live event on 15 October 2020 where they shared a short teaser of what was planned for 2021.
The Nanoleaf live steam teases:
- Thread (New Wireless Mesh Technology)
- Learning Series (learns about your lighting behavior)
- Smart Switch
- U – IQ (Button, Switch, Gateway)
The new lighting products are expected to use the new Thread wireless mesh technology which does not require a central hub, unlike its competitors requiring a hub for their lighting products. This means less cost to set up and expands without a hub. It is also more secure, consumes lower power, and has a self-healing feature(auto-reconnect to other devices instead of parent devices).
This means less disconnection from your home wireless network and a more secure and stable connection for your home automation.
